Brugal Leyenda is a tribute to Brugal’s founder Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, who founded the company 127 years ago. He was the first rum master, and every pack element needed was developed to echo the premium nature and care into crafting this premium rum.
The single white flint bottle was designed with a broad but elegant profile and bold embossing on the front panel to perfectly reflect the unique spirits’ heritage whilst creating a fabulous on-shelf presence.
The premium rum Brugal Leyenda - ‘Legend’ - is in a stunning bespoke bottle manufactured and intricately decorated by Allied Glass.
Brugal Leyenda is a super-premium double-aged rum, first aged in American white oak barrels, with bourbon, and then in Spanish red oak barrels to produce this unique-quality rum.
In appearance, Brugal Leyenda looks clean and pure with a crystalline mahogany hue. It is smooth and aromatic on the nose with light woody notes, traces of caramel, honey, and dried fruits. It is soft, fruity, dry, and slightly woody on the palate, giving a pleasant, complex and well-balanced finish.
Brugal Leyenda is created by maturing the rum gently in oak barrels which produces notes of chocolate and oak, intermingled with a smooth sweetness reminiscent of toffee. That powerfully, smooth aged rum is perfect when enjoyed straight.
