La Mauny Élevé Sous Bois Rhum Vieux Agricole is a blend of rum aged in oak barrels for 18 months. Elevé Sous Bois literally translates as ‘Raised under wood’.
Clear, dark, amber color with bright golden highlights. The nose is smooth with caramel and chocolate with buttery, grassy aromas. The mouth is a Slightly sweet, unctuous toffee-led palate with faintly smoky grassy notes and subtle spicy ginger, cinnamon, and cracked black pepper. The finish is mildly aggressive and grassy with lingering cracked black pepper spice.
