Sea Wynde Rum is a striking blend crafted exclusively from pot stills, uniting five aged rums from Jamaica and Guyana. Bottled at a formidable 46% ABV, this Navy-style rum was designed to capture the robust character and enduring spirit of historic maritime traditions.

Introduced circa 2000 by independent bottlers under the Great Spirits label—likely in partnership with Castle Brands—Sea Wynde was created to evoke the rums once favored by the Royal Navy in the era of Atlantic clipper ships.

Our tasting notes reveal a powerful sensory profile: characterized by heady aromas of clove, dark molasses, fennel, allspice, tobacco, maple syrup, and coffee, followed by a sharp, metallic, and herbaceous finish. A luscious honeyed richness is elevated by the intricate layers of complexity drawn from its Caribbean and South American pot-still heritage.

Today, Sea Wynde’s rarity and limited production have elevated it to a coveted status among rum collectors and aficionados.
