Angostura five years years is a blend of pure Trinidadian rums aged in oak American bourbon carbonized barrels for a minimum of 5 years. It can be enjoyed neat as a sipping rum or over ice, but its deep character lends to being mixed with more robust spices and herbs for cocktails. It is rich, mellow, and smooth rum with an almost fruitcake-like taste profile. It presents chocolate, spice, vanilla, and toasted oak flavors and provides a hot and mellow finish.
