Bologne Chevalier de Saint Georges Cuvée Spéciale
Bologne's Special Vintage carries the name "Chevalier de Saint Georges" for a unique reason. Indeed, in the XVIIIth century, the Bologne property was the birthplace of Joseph Bologne, who, today, is better known as Chevalier de Saint-Georges.
After having been cast into oblivion for a long time, this outstanding musician, composer, and fencer, referred to as the Black Mozart, has received the recognition that he so rightly deserves.
This special vintage has made a name for itself, aged in oak barrels and composed of the distillery's very best output. Specialists highlight its color of "old gold," its fullness, its vanilla and cinnamon notes, and its woody aroma, characteristic of the oak barrel aging process.
