Brugal Blanco Especial is white rum made from golden rums that have been double distilled and then triple filtered, removing all colour and creating one of the cleanest and purest rums ever produced.
The Brugal Maestro Roneros have drawn on five generations of experience to create the first white rum ever produced by the Brugal family. All sugar cane used in the spirit production is 100% sourced within the Dominican Republic and cut and pressed within 48 hours. It is double-distilled to achieve the cleanest spirit and then aged 12 to 16 months in white American bourbon casks to develop a softly rounded flavour. To remove any remaining impurities, then triple carbon filtered to give the smoothness and taste of which BRUGAL is well known.
The colour is clear; this rum is fresh and clean. The Nose comes with slightly woody notes and citrus character. An entry in the mouth a little spicy gives way to notes of coconut, lime, and almond paste lightly. A good body but flexible. A finish with a touch of vanilla, floral and slightly sweet.
