Diplomático Ambassador 14-Year-Old Rum is a brand new addition to the super-premium rum category. It represents a genuinely memorable spirit that looks for perfection and balance in every drop. It is Blended from rums that spent up to 12 years in bourbon whiskey barrels, only exceptional casks that evoke the Ron Diplomatico Family soul. They are specially selected to be used for this rum. Once the selection is finished, the rum spends a minimum of two years aging in Pedro Ximenez barrels. The result is a monumental rum with a wonderfully spicy nose suggesting aromas of dried and candied fruit, vanilla, assorted spices, and smoke. On the palate, the characters from the scent persist but give way to a powerful, complex combination of dark chocolate, aged, dried fruit, coffee, and vanilla.
