Domaine de Séverin Vieux X.O. is aged for 6 years in oak American bourbon barrels. Mellow and marked by robust wood and fruity sweet notes. A clear amber color. Lovely nose, then the vanilla and cooked banana take a little momentum. The first attack is soft and powerful. The body is light but with a dominant woody taste, which outweighs the fruity notes (vanilla). The final is dry with spicy character but still warm.
