Havana Club Rum Brand is a premium rum distilled and crafted in Puerto Rico using the original Arechabala family recipe. Developed in Cuba circa 1930, this finely crafted spirit uses blackstrap molasses, a slow fermentation process, five times distillation, and white oak mellowing to create a velvet smoothness that is clean and round to the palate.
It is excellent to have Havana Club Rum here in the U.S finally. I never thought I would be able to serve my patron's rum made from the same recipe that my grandfather, Ramon Grau San Martin, enjoyed when he was president of Cuba from 1944 to 1948. My customers come in here for authentic cocktails, and with Havana Club Rum, we have a winner. We're going to be serving a signature Cavana Club Mojito.
