J.M. Armagnac Cask Finish is a particular release from a series of three rums launched especially for the Tour de France 2015 and to celebrate the 225th anniversary of Rhum J.M.’s foundation. J.M. Armagnac Cask Finish was matured for eight years in bourbon barrels before spending a few months in ex-Armagnac casks from the prestigious Chateau de Tariquet. This finishing process has imparted the rum with immense character and complexity in the form of indulgent nutty notes and aromas of apple pie, fruit confit, cinnamon, spices, and almonds. Delicate and elegant, a remarkable palate reveals layers of savory flavor with clear Armagnac influences shining through. Highly collectible and incredibly limited, only 470 bottles of this rum were released, each individually numbered.
