J.M. Calvados Cask Finish is a particular release from a series of three rums launched especially for the Tour de France 2015 and to celebrate the 225th anniversary of Rhum J.M.’s foundation. J.M Calvados Cask Finish was matured for eight years in bourbon barrels before spending a few months in ex-calvados casks from the prestigious Maison Lecompte. This finishing process has imparted the rum with immense character and complexity in the form of indulgent, buttery notes and aromas of baked apples, ginger, and candied fruits. Incredibly elegant and balanced, a remarkable palate reveals layers of savory flavor with clear apple Calvados influences shining through. Highly collectible and incredibly limited, only 580 bottles of this rum were released, each individually numbered.
