J.M. Cognac Cask Finish is a particular release from a series of three rums launched especially for the Tour de France 2015 to celebrate the 225th anniversary of Rhum J.M.’s foundation. J.M. Cognac Cask Finish was matured for eight years in bourbon barrels before spending a few months in ex-Cognac casks from the prestigious Delamain estate. This finishing process has imparted the rum with immense character and complexity in the form of nougat, jasmine, coffee, and hazelnut aromas. Incredibly elegant and balanced, a remarkable palate reveals layers of savory flavor with clear floral Cognac influences shining through. Highly collectible and incredibly limited, only 800 bottles of this rum were released, each individually numbered.
