Karukera 2004 Double Maturation

Karukera Vintage 2004 Double Maturation is an authentic, rare rum. After a double maturation, this limited edition Karukera demonstrates the expertise of the distillery's Master Blender. Aged for six years minimum in ex-bourbon barrels, then two years more in ex-cognac barrels to acquire more finesse and wealth. A limited-edition from only 5 barrels.

Great copper color. The nose is powerful with notes of citrus and spice and reinforced by the presence of exotic fruits. A creamy mouth, rich. The heady flowers occupy the front of the palate. The finish is persistent with wood, balanced, and heady.
