Karukera Gold Rum is made from rums that have been mellowed in lightly charred American white oak casks. The resulting rum has a faint caramel and creamy vanilla aromas. A soft entry leads to a round, dry, medium-bodied palate with caramel, sugar cane, and peppery spice flavors. It finishes with a dash of toasted coconut shavings and pepper. Very clean and pure.
