La Favorite Cuvée Spéciale des Cavistes 1991

La Favorite Cuvée Spéciale des Cavistes 1991 vintage was selected at La favorite estate among 500 oak casks, put to age on the 28th of March 1991. Nineteen years later, he discovered a unique aroma: a fruity, woody taste with pronounced notes of dried prunes, cinnamon, pepper, and licorice. It will become his Cuvee des Cavistes.

This single cask is bottled straight out of the barrel, with no dilution or other additions. Each bottle is dipped in wax to seal the cork, giving it a very “old-fashioned” finish, and comes in a smart wooden box.
