La Favorite Cuvée Spéciale 1995 – La Confrerie du Rhum

In early 2014 Benoit Bail and Jerry Gitany began working with the distillers at “La Favorite” on a Special Bottling for the Facebook Group “La Confrerie du Rhum.” La Confrerie du Rhum (the rum brotherhood) has over 12,000 members.

La Favorite 1995 Cuvée Spéciale is a single cask rhum from 4 different casks – each bottle shows the cask from which the rhum was drawn. There are 1000 bottles, and the rum comes complete with two branded tasting glasses.

Dark Mahogany color. Lively, complex aromas of custard, fruit cake, and rich spices with a satiny, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity full body and a warming, very long spiced nuts, dried fruits, minerals, and peppery spices finish—a superb sipping rhum with great power and balance.
