Longueteau 120 Years Anniversary Decanter 1895
Longueteau 120 years Anniversary Decanter is a special reserve produced to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the distillery's opening in 1895. It defined 120 years of activity but certainly not a rum aged for over a century. However, a special bottle for only 500 copies in a beautiful crystal decanter resulted from a blend of several vintages that have marked the history of the Longueteau family. The four curves of this carafe represent the generations of Longueteau.
The 1924 vintage: One of the first old rums of the House, realized by the founder Henry Longueteau, famous worldwide.
The 1940 vintage: One of the most famous of the houses established under Henry Longueteau's son.
The 1997 vintage: One of the finest treasures of Paul-Henri Longueteau, distilled by himself and never put on the market.
The 2006 vintage: the first rum blended by François Longueteau.
A limited-edition and particularly rare from a blend of four fabulous vintages.
The nose offers old leather aromas, polished oak, almond, and old Cognac. The mouth is rich with vegetal notes on the palate, then suddenly coupled with light citrus and mint flow. By warming, spices develop later. In the final, a touch of tobacco and oak.
