Neisson XO Vintage of the 3rd Millennium is matured in an oak cask for at least ten years, making it a frightening rum in taste and flavors. Resulting from an exceptional vintage, it will deliver you all its hidden secrecies.

Created in 1999 to mark the entrance into the new millennium, this vintage, whose circulation is limited to about 2000 bottles a year, is obtained by assembling the ten best barrels of rum to XO Extra Old - rum with more than six years of age in less than 650 liters. After a brief relaxation in oak barrels, this blend of rums is aging again in barrels of less than 650 liters for a minimum of 6 years; their percentage of alcohol is gradually reduced. Their breeding continues in 2000 liter casks for several months before they draw—beautiful amber color. The nose is intense and expressive with roasted, smoked, cigar box - and spicy - pepper, vanilla notes. The palate is ample and soft, and the fruit blends well with spicy notes, with a strong aftertaste. Enjoy neat in a snifter heated in the palm to magnify the delicate harmony of its fragrances.
