This Decanter pays tribute to the magnificent sport of modern yacht racing, which had its beginnings in the 1600s. Many consider that the first recorded yacht race under King Charles II was on September 6, 1662, out of Greenwich, England. Since then, modern yachts and rigs have evolved from the heavier, cumbersome vessels of those early days to the sleek greyhounds of today's seas.
A dark golden rum blend of 6 rums of the British Virgin Islands, Guyana, and Trinidad. Matured in oak barrels and chosen carefully. It is produced without the bonus of artificial flavor substances and taste substances. In 200 years old original wood still, the distillation award the unique flavor to this rum. Pleasant sweetness, much toffee, dried plum, slight molasses note, and very tasty.
