Saint James Cuvée Excellence is a tradition of genuinely great rum from Martinique, a tribute to the passion and quality of rum. St. James regularly wins awards around the world. In 2008, St. James distillery was awarded the Prix d'Excellence Concours Général Agricole de Paris, celebrating five years of consecutive gold medals. Surprising that this rum either so again distinguished by the highest award in 2012! The presence of aromas marks the nose of this rum without burning alcohol. The classic notes of Saint James roasting (coffee, mocha) are carried by a woody base (undergrowth) supported by sweet spices (cinnamon). The mouth of the Saint James rum Cuvée Excellence is full and fat and surprises with its roundness accentuated by its lower degree than usual while retaining its aromatic power. It is one of the most rums round St. James, with a fruity oozing on roasted notes, and provides a balance of flavors that joined the nose. This rum Saint James Excellence was developed to offer a more round and fat range while keeping the style characteristics of rum Saint James.
