Saint James Rhum Vieux X.O. Quintessence

Saint James Rhum X.O. Quintessence is a premium rum with perfect balance, which underlines the excellent reputation of the house of St. James. This very old rum is substituted for the 240th anniversary of Cuvée St. James Plantation and is a blend of vintages over six years. The result of know-how and a large stock of high vintages in small barrels was made to contain the whole range of scents of old vintages St. James. This range has been developed to highlight all the great rum families, even the usually discrete (fruit, undergrowth...)

A suitable intensity of aromas marks the nose—a dominant unique sweet and fruity (fig, dried dates). The classic notes of ancient St. James then follow the backdrop with fine and smooth extraction undergrowth roasting (mocha) and spices. On the palate, this rum offers a transient attack wooded unfolds quickly warm and fat. In equilibrium with the nose, there is a dominant fruity with aromas typical of St. James, which persist with fruit brandy notes (cherry, plum). Tannins' slight presence during the attack contributes to its long finish. Gold medalist of the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2012, 'concentrated' aromas of aging rum St. James and bears the name of Quintessence and is enclosed in a glass bottle with the image of a prestigious perfume bottle.
