Leo Crabtree, a distiller, perfumer, and musician, created BeauFort Spirit in 2017. After launching his fragrance line, BeauFort London, Crabtree decided to produce a gin inspired by fragrance. BeauFort Spirit introduced its first overproof gin in 2020, using some of the UK’s oldest copper gin stills at Langley Distillery. This was followed by the release of the brand’s Three Tides rum.
