Diplomático is a Venezuelan super-premium rum brand crafted by Destilerías Unidas S.A. (DUSA). The brand’s identity centers on craftsmanship, heritage, and expert blending.
Diplomático uses locally sourced sugar cane molasses and sugar cane honey as its base materials. Fermentation typically lasts a minimum of 24 hours to develop aromatic complexity. A combination of continuous column stills, pot stills, and batch kettle systems is employed, allowing for a range of rum profiles from light to robust. After distillation, the rums are aged in oak barrels—primarily ex-bourbon, with occasional sherry or other casks—before being expertly blended to achieve balance and depth.

Reserva Exclusiva — Diplomático’s iconic blend, aged about 12 years, offering notes of caramel, toffee, orange, and vanilla fudge.
